Well, true to it's reputation Portland has been overcast and rainy and cold. However, for the past week it has been sunny. Unfortunately, I still would not want to venture outside because it was freezing! But it just so happens that yesterday (my day off) it was sunny and not as cold (45 degrees). So we decide to seize the day and head for the beach which is about an hour and a half from where we live. We get there and it is miraculously not windy which apparently never happens. It was a great day to just relax and a great day off. As soon as we were leaving we saw a storm coming in...talk about making it just in time. It is once again rainy and cold, but God gave us a beautiful day to enjoy!
